I'm taking a new approach to parrotnoia I want to try-
While I am aware belief is ultimately very effective, I think it's unfair to ask for belief. I think belief should be earned.
That being said, that train of thought inspired this approach: if you get a response from your tulpa, ask if it makes sense instead of whether or not it's you. For instance, if you ask your tulpa if they like the icecream or not, consider if their response "I like it!" makes sense. Since it seems to make sense, it's okay to accept it.
I think the exploration approach is consistent with this approach too- if your tulpa doesn't have an opinion yet, responding with "I don't know" to "what's your favorite color?" makes sense. In that case, it's helpful to show them stuff rather than assume they already have opinions
